Enterprise Search

'Finds' a list of specific data objects based upon criteria.

Purpose

The main purpose of Enterprise Search is to serve as a utility to 'find' a list of specific data objects or a data object based upon criteria. Applications will be able to ‘find’ data from the following: Products, Customers, Locations, and/or Vendors. This component is maintained and owned by Marketing IT.

The Reference Application serves as a front-end demonstration.

It is a UI that utilizes Enterprise Search Index(es), service endpoints, and components so that users can search and refine through the data set of that ‘type’. (Type = Customer, Product, Location data, Vendor). Suggested search and results grid components are utilized to aid the user in finding what they need more efficiently.

Suggested Search:

Contains the search bar and typeahead search dropdown that the user interacts with and types within 

Results Grid:

Contains the results of the search that was executed from the suggested search component in a table/grid format
