Catalog Number

Primary Definition:

Catalog Number is a customer facing Item Catalog field which 98% of the time is a unique identifier within that supplier or manufacture for the product being sold. The item catalog is remembered by customer and is the term most search by. Catalog Number should be referenced in our application as the full name and not use symbols such as Catalog #. It should not be referred as model or series number. In the hierarchy of item catalog information it represent the 3rd level. Manufacture -> Model Series Number -> Catalog Number . Catalog Number has a one to one relationship with our WISE item number
