Short Description

Primary Definition:

Short Description, Mainframe Description, Line 1 Description are all terms that have been used in legacy applications which are 30 chars long. The values in this description have been truncated or abbreviated inconsistently due to space issues or lack of standards. Over time we should phase out the short description and replace these with Item Name which does not abbreviate terms and is better for item search.
